Hi my loves! Another week that we are spending together. We hope you were able to rest and practice a little during these days that we didn’t show up here. Thinking of a new pattern to share with you, we separated the Ribbon and Rickrack Baby Quilt. It’s more like a quilt, but they all have a touch, a hint, a different beauty. Each pattern brings different ideals that we can use in other projects as well.
The combinations of colors and prints always inspire us and help us when creating new pieces. Today’s quilt is a lot of fun, made with the little ones in mind. In the size of the stroller, this quilt has several toys, distractions for babies. Add differents itens in the blocks. You can add pieces of ribbon, pom poms, items that can interest them, that they can play with.
In the photos you can see some items that are sewn into the quilt. Here are some tips, because in baby parts, some care must be taken. When choosing objects, remember not to put anything sharp, too hard, that could hurt the baby. Make sure that the items are very well sewn and that they are large, so there is no risk of the baby swallowing it if it comes off.
Here are some information and materials needed for you to make the beautiful Ribbon and Rickrack baby quilt. Remember that the fabric must be soft, smooth to the touch, so as not to scratch your little one.
Quantities are for 44/45″-wide, 100% cotton fabrics. Measurements include 1/4″ seam allowances. Sew with right sides together unless otherwise stated.
Finished quilt: 36-1/2″ square
